Breath of Heaven and Earth

February 17, 2021 by Nadine Gordon

“When the Breath of Heaven and the Breath of Earth are fully integrated we have Human breath, the wellspring of our life.”      H. E. Davey

We are mere humans living in a Universe fraught with chaos and change. When chaos and change go unchecked within our society, it can feel like we are living in a life of hell. As humans with free will, we have choices.  We can either find a semblance of structure within chaotic change or fall into the depths of despair – heaven or hell.  The majority of humans do not like negative change so, as mere mortals we attempt to move heaven and earth to bring order to our everyday wellspring of life.  We essentially seek to control even that which cannot be controlled.

Recent worldly events have stirred up panic and fear which has caused mass universal trauma.  We cannot control how chaos affects others.  Suffice to say, this traumatic universal energy has impacted us all. We have all experienced the chaos to some extent. We not only see it, we feel it.

Humans are energetic beings who have the ability to collect energy through our body’s unseen receptors.  Chakras, nadis, meridians and auras are examples of our body’s unseen energetic feeling centers.  These energetic centers can be impacted by traumatic events which cause us to become unbalanced.

Nature herself can throw turbulent forces at us which we are unable to control.

These uncontrollable energies can impact our process of balanced thought, fundamentals and principals.  Forced change pushes us out of our comfort zones.  We must then contend with issues we do not consider to be “the norm.”  We may site that we are “fine” or construct any manner of distraction to avoid our discomfort but the truth is; chaos can cause us to become unbalanced.

When we become unbalanced by the chaos in our world, our well orchestrated lives can fall apart. We can succumb to our triggers  then act out in ways that are out of control.  If we become overwhelmed by our out-of-control lives we can subject others  to extra trauma through our own actions or lack of action further contributing to unbalanced universal energy.  Unbalanced energy can build to such  a degree within us that we actually fall ill due to the unease in our life.  The unbalanced unease in our lives can cause either mental or physical dis(ease) to actually manifest within our bodies.

No one actually knows what another person is experiencing, we can only empathize with each other through our own experiences or perceptions in life.  Therefore, it becomes our own responsibility to regain our balance.  How do we do we regain this balance without draining or usurping each other of energy?

We need to breathe.

That might seem like an odd statement to some of you.  If we didn’t breathe, we would obviously die.  Breathing is an involuntary unconscious action.  Therefore, most of us don’t even take into consideration the quality of our breathing. We might not even realize we’ve been holding our breath until we release it.

Chaos, negative drama and turbulent forces of nature can cause us to become physically tense and with-hold breath as we sit on the edge of our nerves waiting for the next deluge to pummel us sending our energic systems off balance.  Our body’s natural tendency is to curl inward to protect our vital organs when we are assaulted with turbulent negative energy. Tense shallow breathing causes us to further unbalance our systems by making us feel trapped or imprisoned as if our freedom has been impeded.    Shallow breathing increases our anxiety  when we are subjected to experiences we are unable to control.  Shallow breathing also causes shortages of air in our bodies which affects mental clarity and physical health. Air and breath affect our quality of life.

We need to pay attention to our quality of breath and the quality of air we breathe to come back into a healthy balance. We need to relax and breathe deeply to regain our calm centered sense of balance.

When Heaven and Earth energies are balanced within the body we attain a healthy life.  It is through this balance Oneness can be experienced.

To become one with the Universe is to know its rhythm and live in accordance with it.  With this awareness you soon realize that everything is interwoven – connected.  This awareness makes it easier to flow with life; become One with it rather than needing to control or manipulate occurrences within life.  The natural evolution of a calm life develops without force or suffering.

The Universe is about us but it is also within us.  When we allow ourselves to calmly go with the flow in life instead of seeking to control, we are more able to live a healthy balanced life becoming the source of love and light within the Universe that we were meant to be all along.

We can therefore re-balance ourselves within nature or even by imagining we are out in nature.

Lay on the ground and look up at the sky.

Breathe.

Inhale fresh quality natural air by consciously breathing deeply.

This is the “Breath of Heaven” and the “Breath of Earth.”

Fully integrate this quality air into your “Human breath,” it is the wellspring of your life returning you to balance.

Breathe.

We are mere humans living through a turbulent time period.  Change is eminent.  Calmness in life can and will return, make it simple – just remember to breathe.
