Very cute. We saw lots of them at Yellowstone a few years ago. They’re a beautiful beast, but it’s best to avoid getting too close.

Beautiful photos! Do these graze near to where you live? Thanks for the info re: bobbleheads- have never heard that term before so now I can spring it on hubs next time we see them. He’ll question me, of course and now I have another animal trivia fact to prove to him. Can never have enough of those in the arsenal 😉

  These pictures are from the Banff National Park and Yellowstone sites… I do have pictures of my own, I wasn’t able to transfer them from my old camera though.
  Banff is about 3 hours from my home…
  I would love to see buffalo roaming around on the prairie again…
  It’s nice to have introduced a new term for you to use! Lol

    We plan to go to Grasslands National Park as a part of our Saskatchewan summer tour. There is a large herd of Plains Bison there. I’m excited to see them
