The Puzzle

September 13, 2022 by Nadine Gordon

Let’s be real.

Life is a puzzle.

The world can be confusing, chaotic and merciless.

Reality in the real world means that life doesn’t always supply us with positive experiences.

There are times in life when the world seems to have a destructive strangle hold on your psyche.  The foulness around you contains a sour stench and negative energy saps at every fibre of your being until you are completely devoid of inspiration.  Puzzled, you become subconsciously stuck in a mire of difficulties, bogged down at every turn. If you allow yourself to stay stuck in this destructive mire, eventually, that is all that you experience – negativity, and the difficulties which come with a depressed mindset.  Essentially, this means you have become blocked.

While blocked, you may be tempted to point fingers at others citing that they are the problem instead of being accountable for your own actions.  Creating drama by arguing with or placing blame on others is a distraction. It is a needless waste of precious energy. But, it is always easier to point out another’s apparent fault(s) than it is to look inward for the real problem or block which is normally hidden deep within the realm of your own unconscious, insecure psyche.

Our insecurities are our inner demons.  Our inner demons are our enemies. It’s hard to believe that we can actually be our own worst enemies.  Sometimes, it’s necessary to run away from the perceived problem or even quit to provoke change.  The change may prove be positive whereby dissolving a blockage.  However, if we chose to exit incorrectly, the outcome becomes negative and we add another block, then every time we make a negative decision we add another block and another until we just start hitting block walls.

Life is puzzling but blocking ourselves in is never a solution since the same type of issues will arise in the future until we deal with them appropriately. If we properly assess our issues and come up with positive solutions then we are able to move forward with energetic inspiration.  All we need to do is figure out what the missing piece of our psyche’s puzzle is to create motion in our lives.

Life presents interesting problems.  It’s overtly magical. Solve the puzzle.

Believe that you know what to do.  Trust your instincts.  Go with your gut feelings.  Change is inevitable.  You can make your own magic.

You are the missing piece of the puzzle.

Be mindful of self.

Start by becoming accountable for your actions.

Choose your next move wisely.

Act with moral integrity, others will follow your lead.

Be a great leader.

Great leaders are a rare breed.  They are creative and inspire positive forward motion. The greatest leaders are the one’s who continually explore their inner world to break down personal blocks.

It may be necessary to break down the concrete walls you have built around your-self in order to truly run free.

Complete the puzzle.

Only you know where the magic piece hides to inspire change – it’s buried somewhere within you.

Life never has a shortage of puzzles, that’s for sure. Sounds like good advice for anyone who finds themselves stymied, trying to solve any of the myriad mysteries presented by life.

I always enjoy a deep thoughtful post like this. I agree with step one, accountability. Most of our life is in our control. Especially as we get older and become adults. Yet, many people live a reactionary life instead of a responsive life. What I love most about the post is the recognition of the magic of life… 🙂

Thank you so much for commenting!
When we fail to see the magical aspects of life, or even ourselves, the world is indeed oppressed!

Life truly has a so much good magic if we allow ourselves to recognize it and experience it. Being mired in and blocked with negativity must be such an uncomfortable place to be. Unfortunately, for many, it’s easier to lay blame than it is to be accountable. I truly feel for those who exist in that mindset. Thank you for this thoughtful post, Nadine.

I agree, Terry! It must be horrible to be stuck in a negative mire without knowing how to move forward. We need only to see the magic within ourselves to proceed.
Thanks for your amazing comment! 😊

Insightful and true! Life is indeed a puzzle but we do have choices on how we survive it! Staying stuck in the mire is not a choice that I want! Thanks for the reminder! 💕

To a degree, I think of venturing in the world this way. Billions of people each with their own thoughts and ideas.
